State Police Forensic Service Department is a structural unit of State Police, which on the basis of request or decision of investigating authority, public prosecutor’s office and court performs examination of factual evidence and issues opinions, gives methodical and informative assistance for investigating authorities and court to ensure procedural activities in criminal matters and civil matters, but in certain cases also for determination of civil facts for natural and legal persons.
It is possible to make payment with payment cards.
Payments in cash are not possible.

Service fee is 41.86 EUR for one unit (1 fingerprint card). Client acceptance time on working days from 9:00 until 15:30.
DFingerprint cards are made on specimen form of Latvia, as well as on special specimen form (for example, FIB form 258), but it is provided by the client himself.
The payment could be done on site only with payment card, or in advance in the bank, by showing accepted payment order to the expert.
